bring on the pastries!!!
sunhee and i were down on 16th street chatting with the fabulous contractors who are working so hard to make the new space nice for us and i was blown away by what a lively street 16th is during the day.
being somewhat of a night owl i am very familiar with 16th street in the evening, but during the day it's a completly different scene. there is so much hustle and bustle, all kinds of people with dogs and kids and great food and coffee and shopping... i can't wait to be a part of such a colorful street!
i was thinking i may even start taking the train so i can walk through delores park and pet dogs on my way to work and i can already picture myself relaxing and having a healthy breakfast of eclairs and coffee at tartine in the morning before coming into the shop :)
for now though we're concentrating on getting the spring line into the shop, i've tried on the samples of a couple of the new skirts and i love them! i was so bummed when i had take them off and put my jeans back on! we'll keep you posted on new arrivals, come in and see us soon!
