Happenings on Union Street
One cool thing about our new location is getting familiar with a whole new neighborhood. Union street is all about the holiday festivities. All the storefronts are lit up with pretty white lights, and even the parking meter poles are wrapped in festive colors. Here are some highlights coming up. You should check it out!
Guys' Night Out -- Thursday, December 14
Send your man over to Perry's on Union St. between Buchanan and Laguna at 6pm to have a beer and some appetizers. They will get the lowdown on the best stores to buy gifts on the street and a map to follow. It is should be a good time and a great opportunity for guys to get their shopping out of the way. Be sure your s u n h e e m o o n wish list is ready in time!
Ice Sculpting on Union Street -- Saturday, December 16
Real live ice-sculptors will be creating some impressive works out in the street. Certainly not something you see every day!
Gift Wrapping -- Saturdays and Sundays in December, noon to 5pm
The YMCA is offering free gift wrapping for any item you purchase from a store on Union Street that day. You can go home totally prepared for the holidays!
Santa and his Elves -- Saturday afternoons in December
Come see the real deal out on Union Street, and be sure your Christmas list gets directly to the source!
It's a great time to be becoming a part of a new neighborhood, and we hope you will join us in celebrating the season!
