eight years in business
i love the holiday's. my favorite is thanksgiving. it is the one holiday where everyone gets together to eat, pause and reflect on all the blessings we have. the year flew by again, and i can't believe that it will be 2004 in a couple of months. this time of the year also reminds me of when the line came to be. in my mind, body and spirit, i still feel like that 25 year old girl who had no idea where my future would take me. i started my clothing line in october 1995, with only determination and pure adrenaline. it is amazing to think how far i have come year after year, when i saw a lot of my contemporaries close shop and go into another line of business. i cannot say it was easy, but i can say that it was and is bitter sweet. like life i guess, difficult moments are sometimes bitter and great moments are sweet, but life isn't one without the other.
