my favorite tv show
my favorite tv show right now, is "bands reunited" on vh1. i am completely addicted. i've tivoed 4 episode so far and my favorite was the haircut 100 and the most disappointing was the abc reunion. i love abc and would have loved to seen the original group all together. i am waiting breathlessly for a wham! reunion, but i don't think it'll happen since george michaels is a successful solo singer. the first concert i ever saw was general public, i think i was 16 years old, the second one was in canada and i saw morrissey. i loved morrissey. the trend now in clothing is 80's too. the preppy look will be huge for fall, if it isn't starting with the resurgence of izod shirts. although what is up with the le tigre shirts, i remember back in the day, that was the poor man's izod, now it's just as expensize as an alligator shirt. music, fashion are closely interrelated and you can see why they move through the times together. during the nineties. it was all about indie rock and grunge. that is so reminiscient of the 60's with rock and the hippie era. i was joking with a friend of mine about how i had all these doc martin's from the 80's (embarassing that i can still fit into a lot of my old things and i never let them go)and how i was going to sell them at crossroads, because they were slightly worn. she suggested that i put them up on ebay that i could fetch more money for them, since the 80's are back!
